Neurologic Institute

This Institute is composed of nearly 30 nationally & internationally recognized neurosurgeons supported by teams of specialized doctors, nurses and other professionals. The size of the Neurological Institutes exceeds that of any of the region’s “academic” neurosurgery departments, and frequently the Institute’s surgical capability does as well. The Neurological Institute is divided into the following Centers of Excellence: • The Center for Brain Tumors & Neuro-Oncology • The Center for Cranial Base Surgery • The Multidisciplinary Center for Craniofacial Reconstruction • The Center for Spine Disorders & Surgery • The Stereotactic Radiosurgery Center In addition to these dedicated Centers, the Neurological Institute also treats a many different conditions: • Acoustic Tumors (Neuromas) • Cervical & Lumbar Spine Disorders • Malignant Brain Tumors (glioblastomas) • Benign Brain Tumors (meningiomas) • Brain Vascular Lesions • Hydrocephalous • Pediatric & Adult Cranial Defects • Pediatric Craniofacial Anomalies • Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases
