Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) is a chronic pain condition involving abnormal nerve signaling and exaggerated pain responses, often after injury. Symptoms include severe burning pain, swelling, skin changes, and mobility impairment. Management is multidisciplinary, combining medications, physical therapy, nerve blocks, and sometimes neuromodulation.
