Meralgia Paresthetica, Lateral Femoral Cutaneous or Outer Thigh Pain is caused by compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, resulting in burning, tingling, or numbness along the outer thigh. It can result from obesity, tight clothing, surgery, or trauma. Treatment includes lifestyle modification, medications, nerve blocks, or surgical release in refractory cases.
