Piriformis Syndrome

Piriformis Syndrome is a neuromuscular disorder in which the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve, leading to buttock pain, numbness, or tingling down the leg. Treatment includes physical therapy, medications, injections, and in rare cases, surgical release of the muscle.
