Learn about
Bursitis
Bursitis is the inflammation of small fluid-filled sacs (bursae) that cushion joints and reduce friction. Commonly affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip, or knee, it causes pain, swelling, and limited movement. Treatment typically involves rest, anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, or, in persistent cases, corticosteroid injections or surgical intervention.
