Aortic Aneurysms
Aortic Aneurysms involve the abnormal enlargement or weakening of the aorta, the main artery carrying blood from the heart. If left untreated, there is a risk of rupture, which can be life-threatening. Management may include close monitoring for smaller aneurysms or surgical repair, such as open surgery or endovascular stent placement, to restore vessel integrity.
