Anti-Reflux Surgery

Anti-Reflux Surgery is performed to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when lifestyle changes and medications are insufficient. The procedure reinforces the lower esophageal sphincter to prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus, relieving symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and esophageal inflammation. Techniques may include minimally invasive laparoscopic approaches for faster recovery.
