Dr. Timothy Canty is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist with over twenty years of experience in interventional pain and interventional mental health specialties. He has been repeatedly named one of New York’s Super Doctors and specializes in treating resistant pain with novel therapies, driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. Dr. Canty completed his residency training in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and his fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School).
Dr. Canty founded Manhattan Restorative with a mission to use cutting-edge treatments and world-class expertise to restore patients to pain-free lives. He also serves as an expert on emerging technologies in healthcare.
Dr. Canty trained and taught at two Harvard teaching hospitals—Massachusetts General Hospital in anesthesiology and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in interventional pain medicine. He founded The Comprehensive Spine and Pain Center of New York and later Manhattan Restorative Health Sciences over ten years ago with the goal of advancing patient care through innovative interventional and regenerative pain treatment techniques.
Dr. Canty is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
