Dr. Dahl has lectured in a myriad of settings from the Screen Actor’s Guild and Actor’s Equity to Juilliard School of Music, as well as at medical conferences and hospitals. During the pandemic, she appeared on many national news programs, reporting on the medical side of the pandemic. In mainstream media, she has been featured in The New York Times, The New York Post, MSNBC, Medium, and The Hollywood Reporter. She has also appeared on numerous radio shows and podcasts.
As an author, Dr. Dahl has published three books: Clinician's Guide to Breastfeeding, Springer International 2016, Tooth and Nail: The Making of a Female Fight Doctor, Hanover Square Press 2018, and Better Breastfeeding: A Doctor's Guide to Nursing Without Pain and Frustration, Rodale, 2/2022. She has also written and co-written articles published in scientific journals. From 2005 to 2008 she worked as the only female ringside doctor for professional boxing with the New York State Athletic Commission. During the pandemic, she headed Covid Compliance teams in TV/film productions, working with Warner Brothers, Bad Robot, Apple TV, Epix, CBS, wiip A24, and Studio Canal.
Dr. Dahl maintains hospital privileges at Weill Cornell Hospital, Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, and Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital in Manhattan.
